Why buy this map specifically?

Simply because it is carried out by a group of local people, who live in the area and constantly hike these trails, collaborating, when possible, on maintenance and reporting any issues.

The map includes the municipalities of Bogliasco, Pieve Ligure, Sori, Recco, Uscio, Camogli, Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, Zoagli, and Chiavari.
With a total of over 550 kilometers of trails, you'll be able to discover the most beautiful and popular parts, as well as hidden and fascinating areas of the Golfo Paradiso and a large part of the Golfo del Tigullio, equally attractive and unmissable.

All trails have been verified by us and are passable at the time of printing.

Trails without markers are depicted on the map with a dashed red line, while those marked by F.I.E. are represented with a solid red line.
Trails NOT verified by Portofinotrek are indicated by a dashed black line.

The front of the map shows the entire trail map of the Portofino Park and Golfo del Tigullio up to Chiavari.
The back is dedicated to the Golfo Paradiso, a brief legend, and a series of QR codes linked to the itineraries suggested on this website, starting from the main locations.

By also purchasing the digital map, you can access our Google map for a period of 6 months to view and navigate all the trails on the paper map (a Gmail account is required). The online map traces are highlighted in different colors based on the municipality.

It is very important to approach each outing with awareness and preparation to avoid unfortunate incidents that we unfortunately constantly witness.

Don't miss this opportunity! Set off for a well-informed hike.

WHERE TO BUY

Portofinotrek trail map is environmentally friendly.

The new Portofinotrek trail map is printed on "STONE PAPER".

Stone Paper is a paper made from stone powder that does not require the felling of trees. It has a significantly lower environmental impact compared to traditional paper.

It also has unique properties, being highly tear-resistant and weatherproof.

Wood and water, the raw materials used in the production cycle of traditional paper, are non-renewable natural resources and therefore need to be preserved. Printing on Stone Paper implies working with a sense of responsibility, paying attention to environmental sustainability and the beneficial effects on the territory.

Stone Paper is an excellent example of circular economy.

Significant energy saving

The energy required to produce Stone Paper is only about 15% of that used to produce traditional paper.

Zero water consumption

The Stone Paper production process does not use water. To produce 1000 kg of traditional paper, 35.000 liters of water are needed, of which approximately 2770 liters are consumed without the possibility of reuse. For every 1000 kg of Stone Paper, 2770 liters of water are saved.

No trees felled

To produce 1000 kg of traditional paper, 18/20 trees are needed, which provide oxygen for 50 people per year. No trees are cut down to produce Stone Paper.

Reduced CO2 emissions

For one tonne of Stone Paper, the CO2 emissions are 482 kg, while for traditional paper, they are 1431 kg. The carbon footprint of Stone Paper is 67% lower than that of traditional paper. By using Stone Paper, the reduction in carbon footprint for 1000 kg of paper is equivalent to driving 4520 km by car.

No chemicals

During the production of Stone Paper, the chemicals needed in traditional paper for extracting cellulose from plants and bleaching the paper are not used. Printing on Stone Paper requires 25% less ink compared to traditional paper.

100% waterproof

Stone Paper can be immersed in liquids and dried without altering its characteristics. It is tear-resistant and fireproof, with excellent color rendering. To the touch, it provides a pleasant soft-touch effect.
