Starting point |
After entering the park, behind the Hotel Kulm, continue along the main path that leads to Pietre Strette. After passing the rest area in the Gaixella location and the turnoff for San Rocco di Camogli, leave the main trail.
Here, turn right and proceed along the level path (the uphill one leads to Old Semaforo) that alternates between shaded stretches under the tree canopies and more panoramic sections. Shortly after, the path starts to ascend until reaching the Paradiso location where the homonymous shelter is situated.
Beyond the Paradiso shelter, we recommend temporarily leaving the trail and following the sign that leads down to the right, taking you to Rocca del Falco, a viewpoint consisting of a small terrace overlooking Camogli and providing a panoramic view of the entire Gulf of Paradiso.
After this pleasant detour, continue along the main path, which easily reaches the Toca location, where shaded wooden benches are available for a rest.
But now the destination is very close. In fact, following the path marked by a red triangle (), you'll reach the large square where the New Semaforo is located, equipped with benches and tables, in just 5 minutes.
From this vantage point, you can not only enjoy a wide view stretching from Capo Mele to the west to Isola del Tino to the east, but you can also observe the different types of vegetation in the park and a diverse variety of birds. For this reason, we recommend undertaking the hike on clear days.
