This trail begins at San Pietro di Rovereto, a small hamlet of Zoagli with limited parking. We suggest arriving by scooter or on foot from Zoagli, following the first part of the "5 campanili" trail.

Start on the path to the left of the church, which ascends and merges into Via Longarola. Follow it until you reach the first house, where a path branches off to the right, running flat towards Sant' Andrea di Rovereto.
The trail is initially paved, then turns into a grassy path, offering spectacular views of the Portofino Promontory and the Gulf of Tigullio. It passes above the church of Sant' Andrea di Rovereto and leads onto a gravel road. Follow this road for about 400 meters until you meet the path from Chiavari.

Turn left and ascend a few meters, then take the immediate right marked with the symbol Segnavia Campodonico (left leads to the Sanctuary of the Madonnetta).
This pleasant path is mostly flat with some gentle ups and downs, crossing woods and cultivated fields lined with old, often abandoned cottages. It leads to the hamlet of Campodonico.

On the left, before the church, you'll notice a concrete staircase rising up. This allows you to explore the oldest part of the hamlet. After crossing cultivated terraces and enjoying a stunning view over the Gulf of Tigullio, you'll reach a junction. Right leads down to San Bernardo, but continue left to intersect the Montallegro - Chiavari path after about 1 km. Follow it a short distance towards Chiavari (descending right) to reach "Baita Facciu", a cozy wooden shelter available to hikers (handy in rain) provided by the owner.

After a break, return to the trail, this time heading towards Montallegro, marked by quadrato-vuoto.jpg. The next stop is Passo dell' Anchetta, reached in about 25 minutes (the last 300 meters are on a paved road).

Turn left and take the path that descends, leading in about 15 minutes to the Sanctuary of the Madonnetta. Here, instead of descending left of the church, head straight down towards Zoagli until you reach a hunting post on the upper right (easy to spot, it's a raised structure about ten meters above ground).
Turn left here to follow a connecting path that joins the "Anchetta - San Pietro" trail after about 300 meters. Stay on this path, which soon descends steeply, passing the concrete path from earlier (now on your left), and ends at the churchyard of San Pietro di Rovereto.
