Val Trebbia
The Val Trebbia, one of the most scenic valleys in the Ligurian Apennines, stretches through forests, mountains and traditional villages surrounded by nature. Crossed by the Trebbia River, famous for its clear waters and wild landscapes, the valley is a perfect destination for hiking and outdoor activities.
The trails cross chestnut and beech forests, ancient mule tracks and panoramic ridges overlooking the Ligurian and Emilian Apennines. Hiking routes lead to mountains such as Monte Antola, Monte Prelà and Monte Carmo, through open meadows and unspoiled natural landscapes.
Along the routes hikers can discover villages such as Montebruno, Rovegno, Fontanigorda and Gorreto, where mountain traditions are still deeply rooted. Stone bridges, rural churches and historic paths tell the story of a valley closely connected to the life of the Apennines.
With its untouched nature, peaceful atmosphere and spectacular views, Val Trebbia is one of the most fascinating destinations for discovering the authentic Ligurian inland.
