The trail begins on Via S. Bartolomeo (20mt. above sea level), the small street at the end of the parking lot where the police station,along the first part, the Gentile torrent.
The trail continues with a climb, consisting mainly of stairs (about 900), which, passing through olive groves and tall walls that hidebeautiful villas, emerges in the churchyard of the Church of San Rocco (220mt. above sea level).
From here you take the path that starts just behind the church and through the houses of Galletti, after a stretch in the open, where you can admire on the walls of the houses and along the way, features hand-painted tiles that coverthe stages Via Crucis, the trail enters the woods with a smooth path.
After about 35 minutes you arrive in place Gaixella (410mt. above sea level)where there are tables with wooden benches and a drinking water faucet. You go left and after a walk of 15 minutes to get to Pietre strette (465mt. above sea level).
We find the path to Toca, turn immediately right (). It 'a very pleasant path, with easy to medium difficulty offering different vantage points, after about 45 minutes you arrive in place Toca (450mt. above sea level) and after another 5, after taking the left path, you come to Semaforo nuovo (415mt. above sea level) where there are tables with wooden benches and where you can enjoy a very wide panoramic view.
We return back to Toca and take the path up towards Gaixella and after 10 minutes, at the locality Paradiso (450mt. above sea level), take the path right towards Semaforo vecchio and, after a few minutes of ascent, you arrive at Sella Porcile (510mt. asl), a town surrounded by large pine trees, where are theruins of an old military barracks, and a picnic area for parking.
It continues to rise and, after about 25 minutes to get to the Semaforo vecchio(608mt. above sea level).
Keeping behind the building on the lawn, take the path that goes down big, and fairly easy, on the left that allows us to arrive, after about 40 minutes to Gaixella; here retracing the trail that you first go down to San Rocco and after to Camogli.
