African swine fever in Liguria

On August 24, 2023, a new ordinance (n°5/2023) was issued, which established new biosecurity measures to access the municipalities affected by African swine fever, which, it should be noted, is not transmissible to humans.

With the entry of certain municipalities in the Eastern Liguria region, including Uscio, Avegno, Recco, Tribogna, Rapallo, San Colombano Certenoli, Coreglia Ligure, featured on our website, we are providing the main guidelines for trekking activities.

- Only walk on marked trails, without deviating from the path.

- Keep dogs on a leash.

- After the activity, change your shoes, place them in a sealed bag, and upon returning home, wash and disinfect them.

- Wash the clothing worn during the activity.
